About The Eiders
The Eiders is set in two acres of gardens surrounded by woodlands, with an outdoor solar-heated swimming pool usually open between May and September, depending on the weather. Ideally located for exploring – nearby tourist attractions, towns, parks and beaches all within a short journey (check out our What to See page for inspiration).
We understand how important it is to share a break with your four-legged friend, so The Saxony Garden Studio and Muscovy Garden Apartment are dog-friendly for well behaved pooches – (Saxony can have up to 2 small dogs or one medium dogs and Muscovy up to 2 dogs. )There is an enclosed courtyard for The Muscovy apartment.Here at The Eiders we also have a dedicated fenced area for exercising your pooch off lead. Please enquire directly with us to make a reservation in one of our dog-friendly rooms.
There is free WiFi access in all garden studios,apartments, public areas and by the poolside. We have 2 electric car charging points (your own adaptor is needed as there is a standard 3 pin plug for trickle charging -there is a fee for this service payable at the property)in our large car parking area close to the accommodation.
The Eiders is owned by Odele & Simon Stevens
After travelling the UK and Europe, we decided to put our passion for travel and hospitality to good use. We spent many years searching the country for the perfect place to live and host, and in February 2021 purchased The Eiders.
Odele and Simon are very excited to welcome you to their beautiful place.
Odele, a professional Podiatrist with a practice in near by Holt, who was an ex-dancer and choreographer, also loves the Theatre.
Simon, an ex-Farmer and Street Lighting Engineer, enjoys Tennis and Skiing and has been a Ski Guide for the Ski Club of Great Britain.
Our favourite thing to do in Norfolk is see new places and share our experiences with you.
You may be greeted with tail-wagging resident dogs, Coco the Cavapoo and Molly the Cockerpoo – you will hardly see the pair, unless they smell treats!
